Vitamin B12 is not produced by plants or animals but has a similar structure to hemoglobin. B12 differs from hemoglobin mainly in that the central atom is Cobalt as opposed to Iron in most mammals and Copper in lobsters.

Contraindicators Edit

Taking too much can increase the risk for heart disease. There really can be too much of a good thing.
